Light Planning
No matter what types of projects, lighting is very critical for design. It can influence the moods, working abilities and circadian rhythms of the users.
There are three aspects to be considered on lighting planning:
- Lighting Specification
- Placement of luminaires
- Scene setting (if required)
Selection of suitable lightings is the basic element. Designers have to specify the most suitable luminaires to scope with end users’ needs. Placement of the luminaires is the second consideration to ensure the lightings can provide an optimal environment. If required, the lightings have to be integrated with dimming or automation system for multiple purposes (such as daylight mode and night mode).
